Leaf Cross Section Diagrams | GCSE Biology

A new set of GCSE Biology leaf cross section diagrams showing the internal structure of a typical leaf. Designed for easy use in science lessons, worksheets and presentations.

The diagrams show the main structures of a leaf, including the upper and lower cuticles, upper and lower epidermis, palisade mesophyll, spongy mesophyll, vascular bundle, xylem, phloem, stomata and guard cells.

The labelled versions can be used to introduce and explain the organisation of tissues within a leaf, while the gap-fill versions provide a useful way for students to recall and identify structures.

The greyscale versions are suitable for printing and photocopying, while the colour versions work particularly well for presentations, digital resources and classroom displays.
