Root Hair Cell Diagrams | GCSE Biology

A new set of GCSE Biology diagrams showing a specialised root hair cell and its adaptations for absorbing water and mineral ions from the soil. Designed for easy use in lessons, worksheets and presentations.

The diagrams show the characteristic structure of a root hair cell, including the long root hair extension that provides a large surface area for absorption. Other labelled structures include the cell wall, cell membrane, nucleus, large vacuole and mitochondria.
