Xylem and Phloem Diagrams | GCSE Biology

A new set of GCSE Biology diagrams illustrating xylem and phloem, the two specialised plant tissues involved in the transport of substances around a plant. Designed for use in lessons, worksheets and presentations.

The diagrams focus on the structure and function of xylem and phloem, allowing students to identify the two transport tissues and distinguish between the substances they transport and the unique structural features of each.

The labelled versions can be used when introducing transport tissues and explaining their roles within a plant. The gap-fill versions can then be used for retrieval practice, revision or assessment.

The greyscale versions are particularly useful for worksheets and printed resources, while the colour versions provide greater visual clarity when used in presentations or on an interactive whiteboard.
